Pemoney

Terms of Service

Effective November 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Pemoney app and related services ("Pemoney"). By using Pemoney you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Pemoney.

The service

Pemoney helps you see and organize your spending. It shows information retrieved from your financial institutions through our provider Plaid, plus information you enter. Pemoney is a tool for personal tracking only: it is not a bank, does not hold or move money, and does not provide financial, tax, legal or investment advice.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity on your account. Only connect accounts you are authorized to access.

Bank connections

By connecting an account, you authorize Pemoney and Plaid to retrieve your financial information on your behalf, and you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Information from banks can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and connections can stop working (for example if your bank changes its login). Always rely on your financial institution for official balances and records.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Pemoney: don't try to access other people's data, interfere with or reverse-engineer the service beyond what the law allows, or use it for anything illegal.

Your content

Information you add (notes, categories, receipt photos and so on) stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Pemoney to you.

Ending use

You can stop using Pemoney and delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms or if we stop offering the service; if we discontinue Pemoney, we'll give reasonable notice where possible. We may also delete an account that has nothing in it and hasn't been used for more than a year.

Disclaimers

Pemoney is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information shown is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or money, arising from your use of Pemoney. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pemoney in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Pemoney after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
